One of my favorite Larry Bird stories is one Reggie Miller shared while Bird was coaching the Pacers. Apparently Johnathan Bender and Ron Artest would challenge Larry to three point contests. Bird would beat them shooting left handed… Bender and Artest thought that Bird was left-handed…. Amazing!

Man, it is so fun to reminisce about the hilarious character that was Larry Legend. This league needs another player like that. A guy the team and its fans love and everyone else hates.

Awesome post. Great video after Bird's 60 point game. Another great Bird quote, coming from Jackie MacMullans new book. Larry said something like, "My college teammates were jealous of Larry Bird.
