4SB Fantasy Football Champion Presentation
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages. Lend me your ears…
Ok, nevermind. This season’s 4SportBoston Fantasy Football League has come to a close after an exciting playoff run. Granted, I personally did not make the playoff bracket but minor details.
You can see all of the fun and exciting weekly updates starting from the draft all the way to the Championship game over on the 4SB Fantasy Sports page.
You will also see there that we crowned five champions in the Survival League (pick a team each week to win and if you win, you move on). We had “scotes selections” win Phase One, which ended in Week 6. I (“4SportBoston“) pulled out the victory in Phase Two, which ended in Week 10. And there was a three way tie in Phase Three in which “FenwayFrank“, “Slytherin House“, and “4SportBoston” all won by all losing in the final week. Boring way to win but it happens. Thanks everyone for playing and congratulations to the winners!
Back to the Fantasy Football league, “VickPresidentofPETA” was crowned Champion on Monday even before Monday Night Football.
The competitiveness of this league is clear since the championship game was between two players that came into the playoffs ranked fifth and sixth. Vick and your Fantasy Aftermath artist, “Donte’s 17 Games Off“, had a hard fought battle throughout the tournament.
We saw players such as “FootInMouthQueen“, “bountyhunters“, and “Edible Underwear” each hold down the top spot throughout the season in impressive fashion as well.
But there is only one champion and our newest writer, Bojo (aka “VickPresidentofPETA“) is it! Congratulations to him and I will allow him to say a few words:
“First off, thank you Craig and 4 Sport Boston.com for the opportunity to play in this league.
Second, I just want to thank my inspiration and motivation, Mr. Michael Vick. He proved to me than you can be down and out, but still make a solid comeback and win. I finished the season at 7-6 and was the sixth seed in the playoffs and felt that I was going to be eliminated after round one.
Instead, I rolled off three straight upsets to pick up the crown. Week one, I was called out by our very own El Mustachio because I made 11 roster moves before the first game. Yes I did really make 11 moves…but who beat Mr. Mustachio in the 1st round of the playoffs? Haha.
It has been a season of ups and downs, injuries, inconsistent play and CHEATING, cough cough. (Mr. Pho and friend). I mean why would anyone drop LT and Romo at 11PM the night before game day and then someone else pick them up at 7am game day morning…hmmmm. (I am not mad I swear).
All in all it was a great time and alot of fun. This league was crazy, everyone was competitive and the games were all pretty close. I challenge someone to dethrone me next year.

Congrats, and yes, I did call you out prior to week 1 and did proclaim you’d finish in last place. Just like my NFL picks, I guess I’m consistently wrong on Fantasy picks too. And yes, I did have my tail between my legs after you beat me in the playoffs.
